Volunteer Recognition Day: A Special Thank You to All of You

April 20th might not be marked on your calendar as a significant holiday, and you probably don’t have the day off from work, or school, but for Keep A Breast and Non Toxic Revolution the date is very special. April 20th is Volunteer Recognition Day and we want to take the time to say THANK YOU to anyone who has supported Non Toxic Revolution by volunteering with us at events, and with special projects. You’ve made it possible for us to further spread education and prevention in communities nationwide and we love all of you.

We have personally had the opportunity to meet a lot of hard working volunteers while working as tours for Keep A Breast and Non Toxic Revolution. A lot of volunteers have now become friends and continue to help out in their city when we come to town. Creating this bond is what makes KAB and NTR unique and being able to rely on their support helps our organization grow. By volunteering with our Traveling Education Booth, hosting a Music for Awareness fundraiser, or stopping by our offices to help the staff with tasks our volunteers play a role in our mission to help spread methods of prevention in hopes to eradicate breast cancer.

From the entire Keep ABreast staff, THANK YOU! and Happy Volunteer Recognition Day!

Think you have what it takes to become a volunteer for Keep A Breast? Head over to our Volunteer sign uppage and tell us why you want to get involved!

Keep A Breast also offers opportunities for supporters to host their own benefit concert, or community event through our Music For Awareness Campaign. The campaign willallow anyone to play a role with Keep A Breast and throw his or her very own benefit show in support of the cause. Many people take this template and throw events such as car washes, fashion shows and other local community events. This campaign acknowledges and enables the fact that young people do want to be activists, to play a part of a bigger and better good. It was developed to provide an outlet that inspires people to better themselves and their communities. If you are interested in learning more about our Music For Awareness campgin please see all details HERE, or email andria@keep-a-breast.org for more info.
